State Environmental Protection Engineering Technology (Chongqing) Centre for Hazardous Waste


Approved by Ministry of Environment Protection, State Environmental Protection Engineering Technology (Chongqing) Centre for Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal is the important base of implementing laboratory environment science to industrialization. The mission of Chongqing centre is to study and apply the following technology: high-temperature melting incineration, highly contaminated earth's thermal desorption, hazardous waste thermal treatment and recycling. Relying on hazardous waste melting incineration technology of Xin Zhongtian, Chongqing centre has formed leading technical advantage in hazardous waste melting (slagging) industrialization through continuous R&D and innovation. With more than 40 patents in melting rotary kiln incinerator(including 2 patents for invention) , Chongqing centre's hazardous waste melting kit and technology were rewarded the title of "National Major New Product" by the Ministry of Science& Technology and "Environmental Protection Science Technology Award" by the Ministry of Environment Protection; has gained more than 10 important technological achievements of "National Key Environmental Protection Practical Technology" and "Relying Units of Major Environmental Protection Equipments" encouraged by the State; be rewarded the tile of "Yearly Benchmark for Hazardous Waste Integrated Solution" enterprise and "Management Science Patent: Excellence Award"; own enterprise technical centre in Chongqing Municipality and key laboratory for hazardous waste.

The business scope of the centre goes as follows: technology introduction, development, inheritance, transfer, consulting and services; joint venture and cooperation; training, etc. The centre is a technology innovation platform on integration of production, research and training, which focuses on: the existing technological achievement' inheritance and innovation; tackle key technologies by integrating various resources; the re-innovation on the basis of the introduction, digestion and absorption of international advanced technology.
